简介(Profile)

 

马尽文于1992年南开大学概率论与数理统计专业毕业,获理学博士学位。随后加入到汕头大学数学系、数学研究所工作。1999年获应用数学专业教授资格。20019月调入北京大学数学科学学院信息科学系工作,现职为应用数学专业教授,博士生导师。从1995年至2004年,先后多次到香港中文大学计算机科学与工程学系进行合作研究,担任副研究员(Research Associate)或研究员(Research Fellow)20059月至20068月在日本理化学研究所(RIKEN)脑科学研究所Amari研究组进行科学研究,担任研究科学家(Research Scientist)。主要研究领域包括:神经计算,独立分量分析(ICA),统计学习理论与算法,智能信息处理和生物信息学。目前已发表学术论文100余篇,其中被SCI收录40余篇,被EI收录50余篇。先后主持国家自然科学基金项目5项,省部级科学研究基金项目3,其他科学研究项目2项。从200111月开始,担任中国电子学会信号处理分会委员,《信号处理》杂志编委。曾多次担任ISNN, ICIC, ICONIP, ICSP等国际学术会议的程序委员会议委员。担任1999年中国神经网络和信号处理学术会议的程序委员会主席。曾被邀请到美国、英国、加拿大、澳大利亚、日本、台湾和香港等国家和地区参加国际学术会议和进行学术交流20余次,交流学术论文30余篇。6次被国内外学术会议邀请做特邀报告。

 

Jinwen Ma received the Ph.D. degree in probability theory and statistics from Nankai University, Tianjin, China, in 1992. Then, he joined the Department or Institute of Mathematics of Shantou University, Guangdong Province, China, and become a full professor in 1999. Since September 2001, he has joined the Department of Information Science at the School of Mathematical Sciences, Peking University, where he is currently a full professor and a Ph. D. tutor in applied mathematics. During 1995 and 2004, he also visited  several times at the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, the Chinese University of Hong Kong as a Research Associate or Fellow. From September 2005 to August 2006, he was a Research Scientist at the Amari Research Unit, RIKEN Brain Science Institute, Japan. His main research interests include neural computation, independent component analysis (ICA), statistical learning theory and algorithms, intelligent information processing, and bioinformatics. He is the author or coauthor of more than 100 academic papers among which  more than 40 papers were indexed by the Science Citation Index (SCI)Expended and more than 50 papers were indexed by the Engineering  Index Compendex Web  (EI).  He was or is the Principal Investigator (PI) of five national and three provincial or ministerial and two other scientific research grants. Since November 2001, he has been a committee member of the Signal Processing  Society  in  the Chinese Institute of Electronics (CIE) and a member on the editorial  board of  “Signal Processing (in Chinese)”. He was a program committee member of several international conferences such as ISNN, ICIC, ICONIP, ICSP.  He was also a co-chair of the program committee of 1999 Chinese Conference on Neural Networks and Signal Processing. He attended more than 20 international conferences or academic activities in USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong , etc., and presented more than 30 papers. He has given six invited lectures or talks at national and international academic conferences.
